Shahn Anderson
In 1987 Shahn had the honor of being apprenticed under Scott Sterling and the Late great Sailor Moses’ at the word famous California Studio in Biloxi MS. Shahn stayed in Biloxi until 92, after that he had the great opportunity to work with the magical Juli Moon at her studio in Seabrook NH. Learning to tattoo and working at these amazing shops allowed Shahn to learn the many different styles of tattooing that he practices today. In 1990 Shahn attended his first convention with Moses, and has worked almost 200 since then. Gathering over 250 awards including National Tattoo Associations Best Tattooist award in 2014. In 1994 he returned to Minnesota and opened Dragonland Tattoo Studio, and after more than 20 years in Hopkins we are still going as strong as ever. during that time he also served 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Alliance of Professional Tattooists. This organization is one of the industries largest trade associations, it’s main focus is teaching safe tattoo technique. Shahn served 4 years as the organization’s President. He likes to focus on many styles of tattooing, from portraits to bodysuits. Bio-mechanical to traditional Japanese. Black and grey to full blown color. There is not much I don’t enjoy doing. I do not do hate tattooing, satanic tattooing, cosmetic or other facial tattooing.
